The Young Woman’s Home was established in 1877 to protect, elevate and encourage young women in Detroit. Today, the Young Woman’s Home Association advances this same mission by providing grants to non-profit agencies serving women and children primarily in Wayne County, Michigan through education, provision of basic needs and cultural enrichment programs.
